Pleco care

Question
I have a L142  pleco that always spends time at night looking for food and sleeps during the day, how can i make it active during the day and rest at like all of my other cichlids

Well, that is fairly common behavior for them, sleep during the day, active at night.  You can try blocking out some of the light with some floating plants, or subdued lighting may help. Make sure it feels safe and secure as well with caves, plants, and hiding places.  Usually when they feel safe, they'll be more adventurous and come out.  That's really about all I can suggest for you.
