Question
HI, I HAVE THREE GOURMIS TWO THREE SPOT AND A GOLD IN A 55 GALLON TANK. MY LARGER OF THE THREE SPOT IS VERY AGGRESSIVE TO THE SMALLER AND THE GOLD. I'M NOT SURE IF IT IS A MALE, THE SMALLER AND THE GOLD DORSAL FINS ARE KIND OF FLAT AT THE END WHERE THE LARGER THREE SPOT IS MORE POINTED. I HAVE LOOKED FOR INFO ON OTHER WEB SITES AND I GET CONTRADICTING ANSWERS. PLEASE HELP THANK YOU-

Answer
Hi,
gouramis can aggressive when not kept in pairs. The chances are, your three spot gouramis are both males.

From your information, it is hard to determine the male and female. I would suggest taking them to vet or local pet shop and ask their gender. If they say they are both males, get them both a female pair. If they are already pairs, the larger one (probably the male) might want to spawn with the female. If they are both females, I do not know what to say.

Put lots of plants and hiding places so when they have places to hide.

I am sorry. With the amount of information you gave me, this was the best I could..
