Question
David what are the best live plants for a 2.5 gal Betta tank? I have on one side a Pongol sword which is doing very well but the other one the Dracaena variegate is dying. What do you recommend to replace it?

Answer
Beta tanks do well with acorus... which is a reed like plant as well as the anubia or spade leaf plants.  I am fond of the pennywart plant which is a vine.  You might want to make sure that your plants are gettting enough light... lack of light is usually the main reason for plant death in an aquarium.  Hope this helps... dave
