betta died :(

Question
I had a betta in a 2 1/2 gal tank. I got him about 3 weeks ago. He seemed perfectly fine but i woke up yesterday and he was laying on the bottom of the tank dead! i dont know why! he seemed perfectly fine swimming around and eatin his food. I know its not the water, everything was normal. Help!

Sorry to hear your Betta died. When you say you know it was not the water everything was fine how do you mean that? What were his water perimeters? What water conditioner did you use? What were you feeding him? Did you change any of his water while he was alive? What was his heater set at? All this information is needed for me to help you out. The more information the better since I did not see the fish and how things were going. The sooner you get back to me the sooner I can try to figure out what made the fish die.
