Question
Hello I have three angel fish in a 60 gallon tank and it seems that two of the angel fish pick on one of them they gang up on the one. What should I do??? i feel bad because im sure the one is stressed since the two always bother him/her....all input would be welcomed thank you

Answer
Hi Shan

Angels are aggressive both to other fish, and with each other, especially if there is a shy / timid one among them. The only way to eliminate the problem is to separate them.

I'd buy another tank and put the one that is being picked on in the new tank with peaceful fish. Good tank mates for a shy and timid Angel are Kribensis Cichlid, Ram Cichlid, Keyhole Cichlid,  Dwarf Gourami, Swordtail, Molly, Pleco, Cory Cat, Congo Tetra, Dojo Loach.

Keep in mind Mollies can also be aggressive but rarely bother fish that are larger than they are.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Richard
