Betta fish problem

Question
I was taking the fish along with me from point A to point B.  When I got to point B, the tank spilled and the fish fell out.  I didn't have the purifier with me at the time; it was at point A.  So I just placed it back in the original tank but filled with distilled water for the time being until I got back to Point A to get the purifier.  That took about 30 min.  then after purifying the water, I placed the fish back in the tank.  Will my fish survive despite all the trauma?  Also, during the ordeal, some of the fins got torn.  What should I do about that?

Dear Grace,
Just use some anti-biotics for the betta i.e. ampicilline 250mg capsule dust or amoxicilline 250mg capsule dust, any one capsule dust for 10 gallon water to make the water healthy for him/her (betta). Next time Grace it's so important to give me the full detailed information about your tank size, water quantity etc.
