two malawis
how do u knw what kind of malawi you have when they are still babies?
How long does it take malawis to get their colour?

 It is not easy to tell the breed of Cichlid due to it's age but it looks like a Lake Malawi. There are many different types of Cichlid that comes from there but I am thinking maybe a Tilapia mariae. That is just a guess from my in regards to the picture. As for when they get their colors, it depends on the breed. Some start as early as a couple months to around 7 months. I am thinking it will not be long until you start to see the colors. I will tell you though, these both might stay the way they are color wise. There are a couple of the Cichlids that are this same color.
