Goldfish not looking too flash :(

Question
hi. please help me!
for the last 8mths I've had a tank with 4 goldfish happily and healthily living together, however just recently one has lost it's eyeballs and more seriously one has started bleeding from the base of it's dorsal and tail fins and the tail fin is a bit chopped up (looks like it has been attacked). What is going on here? I've separated the injured fish, but i don't know what to do?

Answer
While it is not likely, one of the goldfish could be a major bully. If not, this is a vicious parasite/disease. Get an all-in-one treatment and treat the injured fish and watch the fish in the main tank to see if one seems to be a bully, this will figure out which problem it is. Either way, you will have to keep the injured fish seperate until they heal, however, the one with missing eyes may not ever be able to return to a tank with the other fish as it will be singled out. So plan on getting this one its own tank. Perhaps later once it is healed and back to normal you could try getting a smaller than it goldfish who seems shy to be its company but I would not suggest putting it back with its previous tank mates. Get the treatment and watch the other fish. If any new symptoms turn up let me know. Let me know if you need more help or have more questions.
