blue jack dempsey

i have a roma 125l tank and have 2 upside down catfish, a south american puffer, 4 tiger barbs, 3 bolivian rams, 1 baloon rams, 1 blue acara and 1 red tail black shark do you think my tank is suitable for a baby blue jack dempsey

Hi Richard,
Most likely yes. But allow for the fact that as he gets older, he 'might' want to dominate the aquarium and bully some of the fish. But this is very unpredictable because cichlids like Dempsey's seem to each have their own individual personality. It's more a trial and error situation but I can say that you will have the best of luck with bringing the dempsey up in the community tank from a young age as you planned.
