how long does it take for the female to have babies from the time she is in with the males? and what do you feed baby guppies? I have a 10 gallon with a few fancy guppies in it. it has been stable for about a year, when i got the guppy she was already preg, many are because they don't take them apart at 3 months, I've done my home work. Its just i cant find out how long she will be preg!

Female guppies are pregnant for 28 to 38 days. The warmer the water, the shorter the "gestation period". While with the males she can have babies every 28 to 38 days or so. Even after being separated from the males she can continue to deliver babies for up to 12 months. Not necessarily every normal gestation period but she could surprise you with a few babies every so often.
