African albino clawed frog

Question
I have had her for almost four years, and she has never eaten gravel before; however, i recently changed her diet to include flakes.  In order to eat the flakes, i think she also ate some gravel.  There is a bulge on one side of her stomach, and she appears to work quite hard to swim to the surface.  Is there anything i can do?  Will she pass them?  It has already been a few weeks: i have taken the flakes off her menu.

Answer
Hi Terry,
Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm afraid there is not much you can do about that. Its not certain whether or not she can actually pass them. I think the best thing to do is change her gravel over to a very fine grain gravel or just use sand substrate.

For now, make sure she can reach the surface comfortably. Lower the water level if needed.

I hope all goes well!!
Karen~
