Question
I have a female betta in a ten gallon tanks with a pleco... the pleco has been known to eat my littler fish once they die. My betta is old and i saw her struggling earlier so i put her in a bowl by herself because if she died in the middle of the night I didnt want the pleco to feed on her. Was this a bad idea to take her from her habitat that she is used to?

Answer
Spenser,
As long as the water temperature is the same in the bowl as it is in the tank, she should be ok. Remember, she is a tropical fish and needs her water to be at 80 degrees at all times. Keep an eye on her to make sure the move does not stress her out. If it does, then she could get ill.
