5.Wait till water turns brown
6. Add 1 pint of hydrogen peroxide per 1000 gallons. This will clear your water in not time and replenish oxygen to your water.

does it require to be done or is it eneogh as u said taking out infected fish and treating it just with a soln .

It is best if you treat the whole tank since it is very contagious. As far as the HP goes, I don't know anything about that. Not sure you can do that with the fish still in the tank. If the site said to do it, then I guess you can just follow their directions exactly so that no fish is harmed in doing that. As far as trying to figure out how much to use, you will have to break it down until you get to your tank size.

I suggest whatever it says on the bottle of the medication that you are doing. I am a fish person but not a doctor and I do not want to give you wrong information. I have never had to do anything like that before so I don't know how long to keep that med in the tank. You are more than welcome to try and ask another expert, or ask your question in the question pool. Any time you add anything to your tank always follow the directions on the bottle. Hope this helps.
