Cloudy Tank??

Hi, I just got 3 new goldfish yesterday. They are very very little, like less than an inch long. Yesterday the tank was very clean but i woke up this morning and it was cloudy! i tried changing about 25% of the water and cleaning all of the plants and decor but it is still dirty. My tank has a really good filter that seems to be working well but the cloudiness drives me crazy. Do you know when the water will stop being cloudy?? Thanks

Hello Shauna:  You have what we call NEW TANK SYNDROME... It is a natural process that happens to tanks when you add fish/ fish water, or when you do a large water change.  New Tank Syndrome is not a bad thing... it is just natures way of balancing the bacteria that are in all tank water.  The easiest thing to do it so just let it be and feed your fish like normal... you can go to an aquarium and ask them for DIRTY water... add that to your tank to speed up the process... it should go away in about a week... keep water changes to a minimum... dave
