Question
As i have mentioned above i have two arowanas i.e. one pearl Aro and one Silver Aro . The problem is that they both are hurting each other so i have put a partition glass in between to keep them far itz been 2 months now but 2 days back i removed the partition and just checked if they could be comfortable with each other but its the same . So should I get some other fish such as Oscar , shark , Gurami or may b a Pacu you know so that they could adjest and so my Pearl wont hurt my Silver arowana is this the option or something else . I would be thankful if anyone out there could help me .

Have a great day !!!

Thanks and regards

Anoop

Answer
Hi Anoop,
Unfortunately I am sorry to say that you are better off separating your Aros.

Arowanas are quite territorial and if you have only two together, one is surely going to try to dominate the other. Sometimes keeping three Aros together will help distribute the aggression instead of it being one-on-one battles.

Adding other species of fish like Oscars likely won't help much. Perhaps if you have an aquarium with a volume of a few hundred gallons they may all live together more peacefully.

But even then, you can still have fighting so separating the two would be best.

I hope this helps! Best of luck!
