QuestionYour Question was:
I have recently bought baloon mollies from pet store ( 5 female and 2 males )
I am keen to cross breed balloon with normal mollies ...
my male boloon mollies are chasing the normal females to mate ...
will the fry be deformed ?
will the fries be normal or ballooned in appearance ?
will the fries be sterile ?
I choose the female balloon in such a way every single female look big ?
is this the reason why my baloon males are not interested in female baloon , as my females are pregnant allready ?
is there chances that my female ballons are sterile ?
AnswerKarthik,
Yes, you can cross breed any molly with another molly. They fry should not be deformed. As for what the fry will look like, I do not know. The fry should not be sterile, but it can happen. The female balloon molly could already be pregnant, or might not be ready yet. There is always a chance that anything can be sterile.
