Oscar and chichilids compatibility

Hi Stephanie. I recently got a red top blue chichilid, but now i want an oscar, i was just wondering if the oscar and chichilid would be able to live together? Would the oscar just kill it off as soon as possible?

  It would be best to keep an oscar by himself.  If he can get it into his mouth he will definitely eat it.  Also, it would take an extremly large tank to house both of the together.  An Oscar really needs at least 75 gallons to himself when grown... if not more.
