High ammonia problem

Question
I have hd my 46 gal. tank set up for about 1 month. it started off with high ammonia I think because I put fish in too soon. since then I have tried all of the store remedies Ammonia Tabs,Stress Zyme, Stresscoat aswell as Ammon lock. nothing helped. i have doing water changes daily approx. 10 gal per day. 2 times i did about a 50% water change. No matter what I do the ammonia stays super high. I am using the API Ammonia test kit the water turns Dark green in the test tube after about 2 minutes, it is off the chart green. I have not lost any fish due to this and they don;t seem to be showing any signs of ammonia poisoning. i can;t believe the fish are doing ok in water with such high Ammonia. i tested the Nitrite and it is ok.0ppm Any suggestions? I am lost on this one.  thank You

Answer
Hello,

Is what sounds like the problem is that you feed your fish to often or that you have a unhealthy fish that is close to dieing, So you should only feed them every other day. And that should take care of the problem unless you have some sort of disease or something
