Cloudy Aquarium?

Question
Hi,
I have a 50 gallon freshwater aquarium with 10 platys, two crabs, two frogs and one clam. They all are happy and healthy but my tank is cloudy. A week ago I put water clear in. It worked for a day but then went back to cloudy. I did a 20% water change and had to treat my tank from ick. I lost a platy from it... I think... and today I lost a molly. (Me and mollies don't get along well) I have 2 filters and everything in my tank is perfect. My PH is 7.4 and I currently have 2 fry. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, seeing you know about crustaceans... I have a few questions about my crabs. They love to snatch fish that lay on the floor. That is how I lost my molly. She was pregnant so she liked to rest on the gravel. Is that normal? My platy who died from ick or stress or something like that was snagged. I usually let them nibble for a couple hours and then take the corpse away. (Its like a prize to them) This morning I found a skeleton from my platy. Now, looking in my tank it is nowhere to be seen. Do they eat skeletons? I have a male and a female. I bought my female with one claw, but it will grow back, right? I don't know that much about freshwater. I am used to saltwater. Thank you very much for helping me!

Answer
Hi Megan!

Try changing the water and then add some water clarifier. That should do the trick.
You should separate the frys so the adults won't eat them and to prevent them from being sucked into the filter.
If that doesn't work/you have more questions, please ask a follow-up! xD
