clown knife

We had a clown knife in a 75gallon tank also have 2 dempseys that are 3inch (all got along well) we added another clown knife they are both 7inches they are fighting like crazy but were in the same tank together at the store what can we do. There is a lot of cover in the tank

Hi Nicole,

I've never had that issue swith my knifes.  Wierd.  Mine usually school, but I can see how two territorial males might have issues.  Give it a few days, and it might iron out, but if it's not okay in a few days, return one knife, and exchange it for another fish.  You can't have your happy ecosystem upset by two warring fishes.

You do realize the knifes are going to get about 18", at least, right?  Mine did outgrow my tanks.
