Tank capacity question

Hi there I recently got an aquarium as a gift from my friend. I researched everything, and I'm starting the cycle. All I want to know is how big my tank is. It measures 10" wide, 10" long, and 12" tall. It's a square tank which is slightly higher than it is wide and long. Thanks!

Your tank is 5 gallons in capacity. That's approximately 20 liters. It's quite uncommon to see tanks with that dimension. Normally, 5 gallon tanks aren't tall ones, but rather, rectangular, hex, or bow fronted ones.
