Final question about cycling process

Question
Hello again,
Thank you for helping so much before. I have been using Cycle, and it is working great. Over the 2 weeks since I started adding it after your suggestion, the ammonia level is back down to zero, and the NO2 is peaked and NO3 is climbing. Now that ammonia is zero, should I add some more fish food to decompose and make more ammonia? If I don't will the ammonia eating bacteria die off before I can add the first few corys?
Thank you again!
Laura

Answer
Hi Laura:  Let the water chemistry and the bacteria find their own levels now without adding anything else to the tank.  The tank is moving nicely through the nitrogen cycle so as soon as the No2 and No3 have dropped you can add fish... and then the cycle will begin again BUT in a mild form.  When you add fish add only a few at a time so that you do not overwhelm the tank... I would say in a couple of days the nitrite will have dropped and then you can add the cory's.   dave
