green warer

i have a 40 gallon tank, ever since i had set it up i have trouble with the water, at first i couldnt get it clear and then i finally got it clear but now its green not real green like bad algae but its a clear green. can you give me a tip to get it  crystal clear? i appreciate it.

First, get a different de-clorinator. Sometimes the de-clorinators have the added so-called beneficial bacteria which in turn adds too much waste in the tank, thus making it cloudy. Get a basic de-clorinator with nothing but the de-clorinator in it. Then, get some algae killer. The green water is highy likely due to the algae. Get the algae fix and follow the directions. Do a 20-25% water change to refresh the tank with the NEW de-clorinator and than add the algae stuff following the directions. If that doesnt work, let me know but I am almost positive it should.
