Question
Hi there. I also have a black molly female and I also think that she is carrying babies. The problem is that I think that my molly is to small to be pregnant. She is about 5cm. Could it be possible that she is?

Answer
Hi Carlos

Mollies reach sexual maturity in about 8 weeks and are full grown at 3-4 months. It's very possible that she is pregnant. If this is her first birth, she can have 2-25 babies. If she has given birth before, she can have up to 100 babies. Mollies can also have fry for up to 6 months after one mating.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Richard
