Internal Filter Position and Function

Question
Dear Sir,
I recently bought a larger internal sponge filter, and I am wondering if is set up right. Bubbles are created 2 cms below surface. Have I put it correctly? Furthermore, should the flow of the water be excessive, moderate or slow. In the aquarium I have 6 medium size fish.

Thank you

Answer
Hi Andreas;

The air going to the sponge filter should be enough to create a slow flow of water. As long as the top of the tube is always below the water surface it is installed just fine.

You didn't mention what size tank or what kinds and size fish you have. If you could tell me more I can give you more complete advice.
