cotton looking tail

QUESTION: I have 2 glofish to skirted tetras and 2 mickey mouse platy and one of my glofish was hiding and came out and his tail looks like a cotton ball, what do i do

ANSWER: This is called cotton mouth disease, even  though it doesn't always effect the mouth.  You can buy medication at your local pet store.  It can be treated and should to keep it from spreading to other fish.

QUESTION: is this safe for the other fish how much do i use i have a 75 gallon tank do i need to start this immediately

Yes, it should be safe for the others, but read the bottle carefully because each brand is different.  I have never heard of one that would harm other fish.  Yes, I would start immediately because if it gets to far gone then it will result in his death.
