Tank Backgrounds

Question
My husband and I were at our local fish store and in one of the tanks that they had for sale came with a foam like background that went inside the tank as well as created bubbles. When i asked where could i buy one for our tank he advised me to google them. He also said they were being made in plastic now as well. I have looked all over google and came up with nothing. Where can i find a in tank background that covers the whole back wall of the tank and also creates bubbles?

Hmm, was this an aquarium kit? If so, maybe you could look up the brand or company and find the name of the background. And perhaps the company would sell the backgrounds separately as well. Im a bit surprized that the petstore could not give you more info. Ive actually not heard of the bubbling backgrounds, they may be something new. I will keep researching for you and let you know if i find out anymore info.

Just thought I should mention you can buy 3D aquarium backgrounds that look amazing in aquariums. However, I was unable to find one that actually bubbles. There are lots of people who buy these foam 3D backgrounds and can actually make modifications like drilling into the background to create such things as outlets for airstones and airline tubing.

What you found may have been a special order. But with a little planning you easily purchase one of the many beautiful 3D foam backgrounds online fish supply places have for sale, drill little holes for airline tubing and create a very nice scene that way.
