zebra danios

Question
A while ago, we had a couple of zebra danios that laid eggs, and they hatched! But then, being first-time zebra danio keepers, we didn't know what to do :(. We kept the eggs in a separate tank, and when they hatched, we didn't know what to do. They (the baby fishies) all ended up dying. This happened several times, until the two zebra danios who were laying the eggs and fertilizing them, died :(. We got two extra zebra danios, and they just happened to be female (our luck). Now, they're laying eggs all over the place again and we still don't know what to do... Please help T^T.
Thanks.

Answer
Selina,

If your Danios are female, then there is nothing to do. If there is no male in the tank the eggs will not be fertilized nor will they hatch. They will most likely become snacks to the fish that are in the tank. If you do decide to breed make sure you know everything BEFORE you have eggs all over the place. If this has happened a few times, you have had time to research your fish and the breeding of them. But, if there is no male there will be no babies.
