Hey my name is cory i have a 55gallon take  its been set up  for about a year an ahalf, many problems with illnessess at first but thats not a problem now i have 5 giant danios,5 zebra danios,2 angels,1 jack dempsey cichlid,1 pleco ... i think my giant danios have mated  2 oh them are very fat but iv been feeding them baby brine shrim and they just gulp them up i dont know if there just fat  from the food or if they have mated they chase eachother all over the place im just confuzed  i cant tell.. so just write me back send it to my email if u please pepsi_is_better88@yahoo.com its the only thing i ever check  thanks

Danios are very good eaters so they may just be fat little guys and gals. The females are fatter though and the males thin by comparison. They are egglaying fish so you may not see anything at all if they do breed because they just let their eggs fall everywhere. They may even have spawned already, several times. With other danios, plecostamus and cichlids in there the eggs would be eaten probably before they ever hit the bottom of the tank. You would have to separate the parents to a spawning tank and let them spawn, then move them back to the big tank if you want to have babies.
