Aggressive Pleco

I have a 46 gallon tank. I added an 8 inch banded pleco a few days ago. Yesterday, I looked at my two sun catfish and realized they were scratched and nipped up. I was told to rearrage the tank and add new hiding spots. Do you think that this will work? Or should I remove the pleco?

Moving things around will make the fish want to reestablish their territories in the tank. Adding new hiding spots will also help. I am guessing there is currently not enough hiding places, once that is taken care of you should be all set but monitor the fish just in case.Best of luck and happy fish keeping.
