Question
Would you know of any variety of snails that would tend to eat algae rather than plants in a freshwater aquarium?  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Jack,
Thank you for your question. As long as I had live plants, the fish acted like they were a fresh salad. Finally changed to plastic and silk plants.
To get rid of algae, reduce feeding, reduce light to the aquarium.
