tropical snails

i purchased 2 orange tropical snails from my local aquarium but they have started to go green on there shells and i would like to know how or if i wm ment to clean them

hey Luther,
it is probably algae. I'm not sure if you could add algae control, I think algae control is dangerous to snails. I would just take them out and clean off their shells. You can gently do this with a soft bristle tooth brush.

Good luck with your snails! They sound really cool, I'll check into these guys for my tank, they sound like they would really brighten up a tank! =]
