Hi!!!
I got 3 platy fish yesterday and I was wondering if they need a heated tank??? Cuz I think they are so cool and i hope they don't need a heated tank. And will the platy fish mate?

Yes, the platy is a tropical fish and needs the water to be between 80 and 82 degrees at all times. If you have at least one male and one female, then chances are they will mate. But, only if water conditions are right and they are fed the right foods.
