My pleco has body ulcers!! Urgent help!!

Someone told me that me pleco has body ulcers. Should i use Maracyn Plus to treat him? Do i just put the medicine in the tank or should i isolate him becasue i have other fish in tank also. Thank you in advance!! =)

Hi Tony,
This sounds like bacterial body ulcers which are caused by a bacterial infection. This is mostly caused by poor water quality so i would test your water. Add some aquarium salt and do daily water changes until the fishes' health improves.
