fish tank is cloudy

I've had a 55 gal tank set up for over a year now and for the last 3 weeks or so it's gotten cloudy.I did a 75% water change 4 days ago but it's went right back to cloudy again any idea why ?

Hello,

Sometimes cloudy water is caused by too much bacteria and changing too much water only makes it worse. You should change no more then 10% every two days through this ordeal. Also, try syphoning your gravel and cleaning/changing your filter media. If your filter media is over a month old then change it, if it under a month then you can simply clean it in a bucket of aquarium water. You may also want to add a combination of Waste Control and Cycle.
