Aggression

Question
I have a couple of zebra danios that have been chasing each other relentlessly for days on end.  They're about an inch or so long.  I've tried putting a tank divider in, but they are acting more like betas than danio!  The tank is like 25 gallons, so space isn't an issue.  There are only those two zebras, and two angelfish in the tank.  The aggressor will occasionally attack the angels though too.  Can anything be done to stop the harassment?

Answer
Hi Leah.

This is normal behavior for zebra danios.  They are very, very active fish and will chase each other around all day long.  I would put a couple more in the tank as they do best in groups.

Good luck with your tank!
