tank without filter

Hi, could you tell me how long you can go without a filter. mine broke down tonight. Its an external filter. my tank is 35 gallon, 200 litres approx.Any tips in what to do till i get one tommorow. thanks lynn.

Hi Lynn,
You'll be fine without a filter for a day or two. This is especially true if the tank isn't overstocked. Otherwise, if the tank was very well-stocked then you should aerate the water at least every hour or two by dipping water and pouring it back in the tank with a cup.

You probably already have a filter by now. But I hope this helps!!
