2 gallon tank

hi i have a 2 gallon explorer tank contaning 3 guppies and 3 small koolie loaches. my problem is thatinside the tank it seems to smell. i have had the tank set up for about three weeks and i have don 2 water changes and got a new filter cartrige and it still smells what could be the problem and what can i do abouit it?

Dear Joseph,
Thank you for your letter. I would say your problem is over feeding. Each guppy could do very well on one fish flake per day or less. Same for the koolie loaches.
