Question
Hi Mr. Partha,
I have a 10 gallon aquarium, and it's filled with 6 Zebra Danios. I do not plan to add any more fish, but anyways, I want to know what maintenance I need to do for it. I asked Nathan, a expert in the aquarium plants category or something, I forgot, and he said to do 10-20% water changes every week, with a gravel vacuuming as part of the water change at least once per month. I want to get your opinion; is it okay if I do less water changes? I'm pretty busy all the time. thanks, John

Answer
Dear John,
Change of Water is good for tank, but if you use a good low speed filter for your aquarium then there is no strong need to change your tank water 10-20% regularly per week. After 3-6 months, you need to change and clean the tank in full. It's also needed to inform you that the water changing policy with zebras is so hard because after changing of water it has been found that they love to die after change of water so frequently. Thanks. Good Luck.
