African Cichclids

I have a 55 gallon tank with an assortment of African Cichlids(Mbunas) in it. I would like to know how many Mbuna cichlids can I put in this tank?

Hi Larry,
Its very difficult to say precisely what is a good number of Mbuna cichlids to keep in your 55gallon. This is due to the varying requirements in terms of gender ratio and aggression/territorial tendencies according to the species of Mbuna considered. A better thing would be for you to research any particular species you are interested in and decide how many indivuals are best to keep per species as well as temperament capatability and on from there.
