Question
I have a 30 gal tank with 2 Chinese Alge Eaters and a 10 gal tank with 2 smaller Chinese Alge
Eaters. I was told when I bought them you need to feed them half of an algue waffer about twice a week. I had two before and they died as I assumed
they only ate alge. Also would the Siamense Alge
Eater be a better choice?      thank you, rlm

Answer
If you are looking for an algae eater that eats algae and gets all over ottocinclus are great and stay smaller in size. Most other algae eaters only eat whats on the bottom of the tank or the glass and no where else so in turn you end up needing to feed them and of course if your tank has no algae. Best of luck.....
