I am really really sorry.......

Hi,
I am really really sorry to pester you like this as i thought i could leave you free for the month....but i just had to you know....

I was returning home from school in my car and when i reached home i had a big shock awaiting me.....When i got out of the car i saw my house door open and a few young men (aged 17 to 20 i think)outside my house. I had locked my house while going and my grandparents had gone to some function.
I asked them who they were and they suddenly stood up. I sensed that they were no friends and i started walking up to the door when they surrounded me and asked me to mind my business.
I immedieately shouted for help and my car chauffer came running to my aid. We were out matched 2 to 7. Still we tried a gave a good fight and in the end i was beaten black and blue and my chauffer was in Fatsos (one of the thugs)clutches. Then like a miracle one of my neighbours who heard some sounds came to our rescue with a lot of people and ofcourse his dog,
rocky a doberman.
Now it was their turn to run helter skelter escpecially with rocky on the loose.
Well the main thing i am mailing you is while the chasing and fighting was going on my fish tank was damaged. One part broke off and the cat fish fell down and particles of glass got pierced into them. I tried removing them but the pieces went too deep for some fish. PLease please please tell me what to do. I have added some medicine and salt and took of some particles that were over the scales. I know not much can be done atleast i hope the ones with the glass particles removed will survive.

Please please help me.
......Srinivas(ouch my body still aches from the fight.. and i am now considering of buying a gurad and watch dog for my house as i am living in a desolate street.)

~Gosh, I am so sorry about what happened with those terrible strangers at your house! That must have been the most frightening thing in your whole life! What a scare! I don't even know what to say.... Did you call the police? Somebody must catch those evil people!!!!
-I guess the important thing is you weren't harmed anymore than bruises! Thank goodness for that! So did Rocky the doberman attack the tresspassers? When did they finally leave? If you don't feel like talking about it that's O.k.

-I am having my own issues, for some reason 2 of my dear little chickens have died of unknown reason....First I discovered my black chicken, named Jade motionless in the coop, I just saw a black heap....I made a noise and there was no response. I knew I couldn't bear to check it out for myself, I knew it already...She was . I had somebody else get Jade out and provide her with a proper burial for I couldn't bear to look at my little chicken. I mourned so much that day which was yesterday- Wendnesday....It was such a terrible thing. Then to my horror, this very morning thursday, I discovered my other yellow chicken named Chickadee, motionless....I just couldn't believe it...I started to cry hard then. How could it happen twice? My dear pet chickens, whom I adore so much--are now dying. It is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. And we don't know what's causing it. We have been researching it all day. The rest of my flock seems healthy but I just know somebody else will be next tommorow. I don't know what I'll do then...Oh--it's a nightmare...such a nightmare....
Anyway...I don't know if this matters much to you but I just thought I would tell you my tragedy as you have told me yours. Were both on this together-sort of....

~*Now to business, about your catfish~
I am so shocked about this whole tresspasser/fight/aquarium shatters/catfish is injured thing. That's so bad. So terrible. Honestly, I am not sure if your catfish will survive or not. There is probably a 50-50 chance they will. What species of catfish are they? The ones that you removed the glass particles will almost certainy survive as long as their wounds weren't too deep...They should heal and live. But I wish to not tell any lies and be honest...The ones with the particles still inside their body may not....survive. I am so extremely sorry about all this. I have never had an experience like you've had, so I can't say for sure. Probably the best thing you can do for them is keep their water quality as high as possible and maybe add some Melafix if it is available. I wish there were veterinarians for fish... :(

So all I can say for you to do is keep their water clean and warm and add some melafix for their wounds and hope for the best... Remember they may all survive! You never know!

Ps: I think it would be a serious idea to get a good guard dog for your house or a guard. I read once that the number one thing burglars are discouraged by is a barking dog.
