Question
i have a betta male and female together in 10 litre bowl. I started off with the one male and then got two females in the tank. They did not mate and they were together for about 6 weeks until one of the females died. There are now really small fry coming swimming in and out of the bubble nest (which has nearly gone). Is this living situation ok for the male and female fish and how do you care for the baby fish ?

Answer
You must remove the male and female or separate them completely from the babies. After the babies are swimming freely start feeding them with small fry food which you can get from pet shops. You will need to feed them 4 times a day. Just make sure the water isn't too cold and is at the right temperature.
