White Fluffy Stuff

Question
Hi Chris,

We have a large Oscar that has developed a white fluffy substance on his body and head...any ideas as to what it might be?  All of our other fish (convicts) seem unaffected.

Answer
Hi Kim;

It's a fungus or bacterial infection. He may need to be isolated for treatment, especially if the convicts have been picking at him. Here are links to the possibilities and what the symptoms are;

I hope he feels better soon.....
