Question
my Cory cats laid eggs on the tank heater i found out someone unplugged it and i want to know if its safe to plug it back in with them on it.

Answer
Hi Chris,

No, you can't plug the heater back in and keep the eggs viable. But if they are opaque white they are probably already fungused - it takes a few tries for cories to get it right. If the eggs are sort of amber colored and look kind of translucent, then they are still good. Try scraping them off with a razorblade into a net and run an airstone under the net. Keep the net submerged, of course.

Here's a good pic of viable eggs:

Try providing a flat piece of slate leaned up against the glass. Next time, they will likely lay their eggs on that instead of the heater. Here's a good article on breeding Corydoras:

Take care,
