Weird stuff on tank

Hi Chip.  I have a weird question. On the glass of my aquarium, where you would normally see green or brown algae growing, I have something that looks like algae, but it's white.  Any ideas on what this could be?  Is there white algae?  I'm clueless and I don't know how to fix it either.  If you can help me, I'd really appreciate it!  Thank you for your time.

Hi Casey, there is a kind of white algae but its mold. It can come from a number of things but it mostly comes from leftover food when your fish don't eat all of it. All you have to do to fix it is don't feed your fish too much make sure there are no leftovers. Good Luck!
