balloon platies

Question
What is a balloon platy and what varieties of them are there? I saw some at pet smart. I thought they were pretty and got curious.

Balloon platys are sort of like balloon mollies named for their body that looks like it is in a balloon shape. I have never seen different varties...They come in orange, white, black and other colors. But a balloon molly/platy is just what they are. I haven't seen any other types of them.
