putting decoration in fish tank from reptile tank

I have a lg resin alligator scull in my boa constrictor tank, it has been in there for three years or more. I would like to put in in my african cichlid tank now. Is this possible? How do I clean it to make it safe for my fish?

Reptile ornaments are not made to be surmersed into aquariums, but you can try it.

Scrub it with Dawn dish-soap.  

If you notice it breaking off at all, or any dissolvement, then it has to be taken out. :)
