Freshwater aquarium compatibility

Question
I have a 29 gallon freshwater tropical aquarium.  I currently have 4 platys, 5 cherry barbs, and 2 balloon mollies in it.  I want to get a few more fish to really be the show fish in the tank.  The ones that I would like to get are an angelfish (1 or 2) and either a rainbow shark or a red-tailed shark.  I have heard lots of conflicting information about whether these fish would be compatible or not.  I have also been told lots of different information about the temperament of these fish.  Could you help me out with my temperament and compatibility questions?

Answer
Hi Krista:  all of those fish are community fish.  Angelfish can be aggressive if they are pestered by other fish.  Fast swimming neurotic fish like a danio would aggravate an angelfish... in most cases.. not all. Angelfish are slow and methodical... and typically live in the middle of the tank.  Angelfish also make great tank mates when they are introduced when they are smaller.  Larger angels tend to be more assertive.... The red tail shark are also much the same... great community fish but you can not have more then one in a tank that is less then 80 gallons... because they are not nice to each other.  SO if you'd like to add these fish do your tank... do so when they are small and you should not have a problem.... dave
