Question
my molly stays at the bottom of the tank and seems to keepn hiding...not interested in eating...checked all levels and they are within normal range. Its a new tank that has been set up for 3 days before i moved her into it. what else could be the problem

Answer
Does this fish have other signs like spots, fuzzy patches, clamped fins, torn fins, cannot balance, and other odd signs? If so, it is likely your fish has a disease or parasite. This will need to be treated. Otherwise your fish may just be very stressed. In this case, just try not to add any extra stress. Sometimes a fish cannot take too much stress, other cases the fish must just work its way through it. If there are not signs of a disease or parasite just try not to add any more stress and hopefully the fish will pull through. If there is signs of a disease and/or parasite, go to your local pet store and get the appropriate treatment. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else or have any more questions.
